LINCOLN – Stephen D. McPheters Sr., 70, died May 31, 2006, at his home. He was born May 30, 1936, in Lincoln, the son of Norman and Josephine (Perkins) McPheters. Steve was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He loved to hunt and fish, was a gifted artist, and was well known from Millinocket to Freeport. He enjoyed his pet dogs, Shadow and Rose. He is survived by his wife, Priscilla (Lincoln) McPheters; four children, Valerie Robbins, Spring Hill and her husband, Don, all of Brunswick, Stephen D. McPheters Jr. and his wife, Barb, of Freeport and Norman McPheters II of Lincoln; four grandchildren, Rob Williams of Brunswick, Diana and her husband, Ted McKeen, of Dresden, Hal Robbins and Josh Robbins of Brunswick; and a great-granddaughter, Ivy McKeen.
