GLENBURN – Selena B. (Hudock) McFarland, 97, passed away Thursday, Aug. 30, 2007, at the residence of her loving daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Lyle Newman of Glenburn. She was born May 2, 1910, in Sandy Valley, Pa., and resided in Freeland, Pa., for most of her life. She is survived and will be sadly missed by her daughter, Elizabeth “Betty” Newman and her husband, Lyle, of Glenburn; daughter-in-law, Anne Kerrigan of Camp Hill, Pa.; seven grandchildren, Barbara Newman of Brewer, Kathryn Newman of Veazie, David Newman of Sanford, John Hudock of Etters, Pa., Joseph Hudock of Harrisburg, Pa., James Hudock of Sparks, Md., Jason Hudock and his wife of Owatonna, Minn.; four great-grand-children, Drew, Dylan and Audrey Hudock of Minnesota and John Hudock of Ohio. She was predeceased by her long time friend, Michael Banyas of Freeland, Pa.; her loving son, John Hudock of Camp Hill, Pa.; and her grandson, Jeffrey Newman of Glenburn. At the family’s request, services will be private. Internment will be held at Lake View Cemetery at a later date.
