FORT KENT and MADAWASKA – Sharon Anne (Shanny) Cyr, 56, died Feb. 1, 2006, at a Madawaska healthcare facility. She was born Feb. 15, 1949, in Fort Fairfield, the daughter of Andrew and Elise (Laferriere) Cyr. Sharon was predeceased by her parents, one sister and several brothers. She is survived by one sister, Norma Tutty of Crystal River, Fla.; and one brother, Ronald Cyr of Eagle Lake; several nieces and nephews. There will be no viewing at the funeral home. A full committal service will be held May 11, in the St Louis Cemetery, Fort Kent, with family and friends in attendance. The time of the committal service will be announced in a May addition of the Bangor Daily News. Arrangements are being conducted by the Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent.
