ISLAND FALLS – Sharon L. Dubois, 62, died July 11, 2006, with her family at her side, at her home. She was born June 27, 1944, in Island Falls, the daughter of Eurcil C. “Bill” and Eva (Lee) Dunphy. Sharon was very involved in the Big Valley Snowmobile Club, where she was a lifetime member. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, George Dubois; three children, David Dubois and his wife, Debbie, Brent Dubois and his wife, Jennifer, all of Island Falls and Lynn Ouellette and her husband, Paul, of Presque Isle; nine grandchildren, Joseph, Cindy, Kevin, David II, Desirae, Clint, Bryan, Shannon and Melissa; four great-grandchildren, Robbie, Shaydin, Emilia and Christian; five siblings, Phyllis Drew of Oakfield, Bud Dunphy and his wife, Margaret, of Island Falls, Mary Roberts of Texas, Robert Dunphy and his wife, Evelyn, of Island Falls, Jane “Babes” Harrigan of Vermont; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, and one brother, David. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 14 and 3-4 p.m. Saturday at Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls, where funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Dr. Gary Johnson officiating. Interment will be at the Island Falls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may donate in Sharon’s memory to the Island Falls Baptist Church, Building Fund, Island Falls, ME 04747.
