MILO – Sharon Lee Carr-Hess, 67, wife of Dale A. Hess, died May 22, 2008, at a Lincoln hospital. She was born Nov. 21, 1940, in Milo, the daughter of Ardie Sr. and Beulah (Grant) Drake. She is survived by her husband, Dale A. Hess of Milo; a son, Ralph Carr Jr. and wife, Kelly, of Pennsylvania; two daughters, Wuanita Spearin and significant other, Bob Elkins, of Medford and Jennifer Altizer and husband, Tim, of North Carolina; a sister, Linda St. Thomas of Bangor; four brothers, Kenneth Drake of Bangor, Wayne Drake of Connecticut, Floyd Drake of New York and Ardie Drake Jr.; three grandsons, Travis Kelly of Bangor, Brandon Spearin of Med-ford and Richard Thompson of LaGrange; four granddaughters, Miranda Carr of Skowhegan, Hannah Altizer of North Carolina, Audra Pelletier of Skowhegan and Alysha Silva of Brewer; two great-grandsons, Austin Carr and Joshua Carr of Milo; and a great-granddaughter, Kristina Bussiere of Winslow. She was predeceased by a son, Floyd Leslie Carr; and a daughter, Heidi Carr. Friends are invited to call 1 p.m. until the time of funeral service 2 p.m. Sunday, May 25, at Lary Funeral Home, Milo, with the Rev. David McCausland, of Milo Pentecostal Church, officiating.
