MERRIMACK, N.H. – Sharon M. (Walls) Billingham, 68, died Thursday, March 1, 2007, at her home. She was born May 27, 1938, in Millinocket, the daughter of Shirlie Walls of Millinocket and the late John B. Walls. Sharon was a graduate of Stearns High School, Class of 1954, and Massachusetts General Hospital School of Nursing. She was employed at Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Massachusetts, for more than 20 years, and retired from Catholic Medical Center, Manchester, N.H., where she did utilization review. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald J. Billingham Sr. Members of her family include, a son and his fiance, Donald “Jay” Billingham Jr. and Donna Villemare, of Allenstown, N.H.; a daughter and son-in-law, Alison and Andy Ravins of Melrose, Mass.; one granddaughter, Liliana Dawn Ravins; a brother and his wife, Ted and Donna Walls of Yarmouth; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Thursday, March 8, at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, Manchester, N.H. A burial is being planned at Millinocket Cemetery, Millinocket, in the late spring.
