BRYANT POND – Shirley Ann Richards, 65, died June 16, 2007. She was born Oct. 29, 1941, in Old Town, the daughter of Warren and Jeanette (Brissette) Grindle. Shirley was educated in Old Town schools. Shirley had been employed at Pat’s Pizza, Orono, for many years. Shirley loved to sew and knit, go to bingo with her friends and watching Wheel of Fortune and Dancing with the Stars. She is survived by one son, Daniel McGurn Jr. and his wife, Soyna, of Orono; two daughters, Brenda Mason and her significant other, Stuart Wentworth, of Bryant Pond and Gwen Pearl of Bangor; one brother, Carl Grindle of Old Town; one sister, Dayle Baker of Jacksonville, Ark.; six grandchildren, Tabatha and Scott Dyer of Mexico, Kasey and Alex Gallant of Poland, Sabrina and Ryan Wallace of Rumford, Nathan Pearl and Cory Pearl, both of Bangor and Daniel McGurn III of Orono; seven great-grandchildren, Camden, Matthais, Alyssa, Camry-Le, Connor, Natasha and Savannah. A gathering to remember Shirley will be held 2 p.m. Friday, June 22, at Pat’s Pizza, Orono. Arrangements by Andrews Funeral Home, 64 Andrews Road, South Woodstock.
