CONNOR – Shirley Collin-Pelletier, 44, died unexpectedly Oct. 25, 2004, at Caribou as the result of an automobile accident. She was born in Sinclair, March 9, 1960, the daughter of Gerard and Clemence (Fortin) Collin. Shirley was a graduate of Wisdom High School in St. Agatha and was a member of the Catholic Church. She was employed as a fitness trainer in the area and also ran the Power of Prevention Program for the Caribou Recreation Dept. Shirley was a loving and devoted wife and mother to her family and loved to collect antiques and had an extensive doll collection. She is survived by her husband, Harry Pelletier of Connor; her mother, Clemence Collin of Sinclair; her son, Joseph Pelletier; and her daughter, Amanda Pelletier, both of Connor; two brothers, John Collin of Caribou and Tom Collin of St. Agatha; four sisters, Mary Ann Adams of Sinclair, Gerry Douds of Panama City, Fla., Cindy Collin of Sinclair and Sharon Collin of Daigle; her grandmother, Marie Anne Fortin of St. Aubert, Quebec; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Shirley was predeceased by her father, Gerard, in January 2004. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 29, 2004, from the Holy Rosary Catholic Church with the Rev. David Raymond, officiating in a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in the New Holy Rosary Cemetery.
