NIANTIC, Conn. – Shirley E. Aarsand, 71, went to be with the Lord Sunday, Aug. 7, 2005, from a New London, Conn. hospital. Graveside funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10 at Mailey Hill Cemetery, Columbia. Gifts in memory of Shirley may be sent to the Montauk Avenue Baptist Church Mission Fund, Montauk Avenue, New London, CT, 06320.
