HOULTON – Shirley L. Sabattis, 57, died Dec. 19, 2005, at Bangor, surrounded by her family. She was born May 16, 1948, in Island Falls, the daughter of George and Phyllis (Bates) Cole. In addition to her mother of Linneus, she is survived by five daughters, Allison of Lisbon Falls, Sara and Doug, Amanda and Joe, and Cindy, all of Houlton, and Stephanie of Lewiston; six grandchildren, Macy, Brandon, Doug, Parker, Jacob, and Emma; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; special friends, Doug Sabattis, the father of her children and Nancy Orr. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., with funeral services being held 1 p.m. Friday. Spring interment will be in Linneus Cemetery.
