EAST MILLINOCKET – Sonia Marie Sargent, 36, born on Feb. 20, 1967, the daughter of Richard J. and Linda F. (Rodgerson) Jacobs in Millinocket. Refusing to sacrifice her unborn children and never wavering in her faith and devotion to our Savior has gone home to be with our Lord this 22nd day of November 2003, from complications of breast cancer. Sonia is survived by her husband, Rick; four children, Brittany, R.J., Courtney, and Austin, all of East Millinocket; her father, the Rev. Dick Jacobs; sister, Vickie Melnychuk; brothers, Rick and Larry Jacobs of the “West Coast Jacobs”; and an outstanding family of believers and friends across the land. Sonia was active in her faith from a young age, sang in worship, worked with youth, involved herself with various sports and outdoor activities, and accomplished many other remarkable achievements. You will surely be missed! Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2003, at Calvary Temple Assembly of God, 2 Orchard St., East Millinocket.
