PLEASANT POINT, PERRY – Stanislaus ‘Stan’ A. Bailey, 76, passed away Dec. 20, 2003, at a Calais hospital. He was born at Pleasant Point, Perry, the son of Lewey and Josephine (Gabriel) Bailey. He worked for several years at Federal Marine Terminals, and he worked at the Pleasant Point Health Center for 21 years, retiring in November. He was a hard worker, loving father and husband. He is survived by his wife, Betty of Pleasant Point; two daughters, Mary Jo Bailey, Brenda Breeze of Princeton; son, James Bailey of Rochester, N.H.; eight grandchildren; sister, Martha Nicholas of Pleasant Point; brother, John Bailey of Calais, Joseph of Pleasant Point; several nieces and nephews; a special niece, Beverly Francis. Friends and family may call at Stan Batty’s home Monday, Dec. 22, 2003. A Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Pleasant, with the Rev. Gaffey celebrant.
