DOVER-FOXCROFT and NEW HARTFORD, Conn. Stencen K. Taylor, 82, husband of the late Maxine (Preston) Taylor, died Feb. 14, 2007, at a Dover-Foxcroft nursing home after a long illness. He was born Dec. 24, 1924, in Eastport and had been a resident of New Hartford, Conn., for about 60 years. He was a member of the Grace Baptist Church, Bristol, Conn. He is survived by two sisters, Gertrude and Julia of Eastport; a stepdaughter, Brenda Andrews and her husband, Ronald, of Levant; stepgrandchildren, Lisa Dorr and her husband, Dennis, of Corinth, R. Wayne Andrews of Kenduskeag and Tina Andrews of Bangor; six great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at Thompson Funeral Home, 17 Hudson Road, Corinth, with the Rev. Jerry Mick, pastor of the Bangor Baptist Church, officiating. Spring burial will be at Corinthian Cemetery, Corinth. The family invites relatives and friends to join them after the service for a time of friendship and refreshments at the home of Lisa Dorr, 24 Harvey Highlands, Corinth.
