BLUE HILL – Stephen “Steve” Mark Duffy, 43, passed away Sept. 19, 2004, at his home in Blue Hill. He was born Nov. 18, 1960, in Blue Hill, the son of Chandler and Sue (Keefe) Duffy. Steve worked for many years in the family business, Babson & Duffy Inc. He certainly enjoyed hunting, fishing, building his own guns and was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. He belonged to the Blue Hill Rifle and Pistol Club and was a former lieutenant in the Blue Hill Fire Department. Steve is survived by his parents, his significant other, Jody Reynolds of Blue Hill; his son, Matthew Duffy of Blue Hill and his mother, Stacey Black; his sister, Dawn Moraisey of Trenton, several aunts, uncles and cousins. Calling hours will be held 4:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2004, from at the Jordan-Fernald Funeral Home, 113 Franklin St., Ellsworth. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, 2004, at the Mountain View Cemetery in North Blue Hill.
