CARIBOU – Sterlin A. Page, 67, died July 25, 2004, at Caribou. He was born Sept. 1, 1936, in Fort Fairfield, the son of Frederick and Ruth (Scott) Page. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War, and was a member of the Lister-Knowlton Post 9389 VFW and the Henry B. Pratt Post 15 American Legion. Mr. Page was employed for many years as the laundry manager at Cary Medical Center and retired from the Cary Maintenance Dept. He married Joan (Nadeau) Page. Surviving in addition to his wife of more than 43 years, Joan of Caribou, are two sons and daughters-in-law, Steven and Debbie Page of Caribou, and Kelly and Lee Ann Page of Presque Isle; one daughter and son-in-law, Stacey and Richard Hall of Pennsylvania; one brother, Ronald Scott; seven grandchildren, Aaron, Shandi, Malari, Brenan and Jaylen Page and Holly, and Matthew Hall; his uncle, Darrell Scott; two special sisters-in-law, Alta Scoot and Jean Page; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, July 29, 2004, at the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery, with the Rev. Jean-Paul Labrie, officiating. Friends who wish to contribute in memory of Mr. Page may do so through the Maine Veterans Home memorial fund. Funeral arrangements by the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou.
