UMATILLA, Fla., and HUDSON – Sterling Robert Clark, Jr., 65, died Saturday, May 19, 2007. He was born Sept. 1, 1941, in Hudson and moved to Umatilla, Fla., in 1984 from East Holden. He graduated from East Corinth Academy in 1960. He was a computer aided draftsman tech with Hall Farner Associates of Leesburg and a member of First Assembly of God, Eustis, Fla. He was a graduate of the Maine Criminal Justice Academy and a graduate of the Lake County Vo-Tech Drafting. He was a Bangor Police officer from 1971 to 1983, a Royal Ranger Commander and member of the DAV Chapter 134 of Mount Dora, Fla., where he was a commander in 1997. He was also a mechanic and welder. He is survived by four daughters, Donna L. Clark of Portland, Dianna Y. Fryer of Jacksonville, Fla., Dana L. Klugerman of Umatilla, Fla., and Davia S. Krupa of Unadilla, N.Y.; mother, Doris L. Clark of Eustis, Fla.; two brothers, David E. Clark of Lilburn, Ga. and Bruce W. Clark of Eustis, Fla.; four sisters, Laurabelle Aldinger of Eustis, Fla., Anna Rae Dumond of Corinth, Doris Ann Lovley of Astatula, Fla., and Rachel Gonzales of Umatilla, Fla.; his wife of 30 years, Cleo A. Clark; lifelong friend, Pauline Sodermark and six grandchildren. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home, Eustis, Fla., where services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 23. Interment will be held after at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Assembly of God, Eustis or to Hospice House of Lake and Sumter.
