CARMEL – Therese E. (Labbe) Cyr, 84, passed away May 22, 2007, at home, after a brief illness. She was born Jan. 15, 1923, in Keegan, the daughter of David and Lena (Labbe) Labbe. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Therese is survived by her six children, son, David Cyr and wife, Tenia, of Milo, son, Llewellyn Cyr and wife, Pamela, of Carmel, daughter, Susan Hart and husband, David, of Carmel, son, Gary Cyr and wife, Terry, of Newport, son, Steven Cyr and friend, Heidi, of Carmel, daughter, Sandra Cyr of Bangor and friend, Christopher; 16 grandchildren, Therese, David Jr., Jason, Betty Ann, Craig, Fayedra, Jay’R, Bill, Allen, Dawn, Gail, Stephanie, Christine, Laura, Melissa, and Kyle; nine great-grandchildren, Jake, Josie, Isabella, CJ, Caleb, Jasmine, Jesse, Justin and Lilly; two sisters, Joan Dube and Dolores Levasseur; sister-in-law, Dolores Labbe; her beloved pet, Brutus. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Claude J. Cyr, in 2002; stepmother, Mamie Labbe; and three brothers, Arthur, Camille and Lionel Labbe. Her family and friends will sadly miss her. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, May 26, at Carmel Union Congregational Church, Church Street, Carmel, with Pastor Ruth Guerrette officiating. After the memorial service a gathering of family and friends will be held at Golden Harvest Grange, Route 2, Carmel. Gifts in her memory may be made to New Hope Hospice, P.O.
