BRIDGTON – Steven Kenneth Phillips, 33, died Nov. 28, 2007, at his residence. He was born Nov. 24, 1974, in Belfast, the son of Charles F. and Cynthia M. (Rollins) Phillips. Steven was a graduate of Maine Central Institute, Pittsfield, Class of 1993, where he was a three-sport athlete. He graduated from Southern Maine Community College in 2003 with a degree in behavioral sciences, the same year he was inducted into Phi Theta Chi Honors Society. Steven is survived by his parents of Bridgton; a sister, Andrea and Bryan Hardison; his niece, Elizabeth Hardison – his pride, all of Orono; maternal grandmother, Joanna (Rollins) Crooker of Bridgton; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Lois Phillips Lane. Memorial services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at First Congregational Church, Bridgton, with the Rev. Richard Bennett officiating. Memorials in his memory are suggested to Tri County Mental Health Services, attention: Development Office, P.O. Box 2008, Lewiston, ME 04241-2008.
