HERMON – Susan J. Morrill, 41, a loving, caring wife, mother, sister, and daughter passed away June 16, 2004, surrounded by her family after a long illness. Her courage and perseverance were an inspiration to everyone. Susan was the past president of Emblem Club and a member of the Bangor Elks. She worked at Eastern Maine Medical Center for 18 years. Susan is survived by her husband, Clyde Morrill; daughter, Ellysea; sons, Jared and Neil; mother and father, Margaret and Robert Whittier; two sisters, Carolyn and her husband, John Murphy, and Marge and her husband, Lee Wescott; “Nana” Dot Whittier; nephews, Jason, Brian, Ben and Curt. A service of remembrance will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, June 19, 2004, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor with the Rev. Garnett Chute, pastor of the Hermon Baptist Church, officiating. Friends may call from 2 p.m. until time of service.
