PRESQUE ISLE- Susan L. Rundle, 50, died Jan. 4, 2004, in Presque Isle. She was born Oct. 21, 1953, in Presque Isle, the daughter of Albert E. and Maude (Ward) Haines. She graduated from Presque Isle High School in 1972 and later a university in England. She lived in England for more than 20 years where she raised her children. After returning home last year, she became employed at ATX in Caribou as a Customer Service Representative. She is survived by a son, John O. Rundle of Yuma, Ariz.; a daughter, Sarah J. Rundle of Cornwall, England; four brothers, Albert Haines Jr. and his wife, Lois, of Woodland, Ronald Haines and his wife, Joanne, of Franklin, N.C., Alan “Bob” Haines and his wife, Sandra, of Woodland, Van Haines of Presque Isle; two sisters, Mrs. Roland (Barbara) Anderson of Madawaska, Mrs. Larry (Brenda) Torrey of Winter Harbor. She will be remembered by two special friends, David Coty and Polley Burnett. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Presque Isle with the Rev. Alfred Irving celebrant. Relatives and friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service at the church.
