FRYEBURG – Susan Cole, 49, daughter of Harley and Judy Bryant of Carmel, passed away Sept. 2, 2004, with her family at her side after extended health problems. Born in Bangor, June 12, 1955, she had been a resident of Fryeburg but lived in many places never preferring one over the other. She marched to her own drummer wherever it took her. Sue took great pride in her home and loved fixing it up with various items especially stuffed animals of all kinds, also wind chimes, mini lamps, doll chairs, cradles and candles. For every stuffed animal she had a hat and it’s own special place to sit. She also had special pets. Her No. one love was her ferret, Cricket; her chinchillas; faithful dog, Missy, who slept on the foot of her bed; a kitten she adored and many other cats and kittens. She leaves a daughter, Amidy Lynn Cole of Bangor; a son, Evan B. Cole of Palmyra; a grandson, Patrick Allen Smith of Bangor; a sister, Cindy Tozier of Carmel; her companion of eight years, Winn Wilson, of Fryeburg, and special aunts, uncles and cousins. At her request there will be no visiting hours or services. A memorial for the family only will be held graveside at a later date.
