BREWER – Susanne Corson, 68, died June 27, 2008, at her home. She was born Aug. 8, 1939, in Brewer, the daughter of Harold and Lois E. (Quimby) Loomis. Susanne married Charles P. Corson in 1973 and they have enjoyed 35 years together, traveling all over the U.S. with Charles’ job as a Benjamin Moore representative. Surviving are her husband, Charles P. Corson; four children, Philip Toher, Gregory Toher, Cynthia Toher-Smith and Chris Toher; a stepson, Sheldon Corson; 11 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Marretta Hunter, Sandra Kimball and Paulina Gallant; several nieces and nephews. Susanne was predeceased by a son, Dean Toher in 1990. Relatives and friends are welcome to call 6-8 p.m. Sunday, June 29, at Brookings-Smith, Clark-Piper Chapel, 55 South Main St., Brewer, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, June 30, with the Rev. Carl Schreiber, pastor of East Orrington Congregational Church, officiating. Interment will be at Highland Cemetery, Carmel. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at Brookings-Smith, Reception Rooms, 55 South Main St., Brewer, after the service.
