IRMO, S.C. and SANGERVILLE – Sylvia E. Dinkins, 72, died April 3, 2006, at the Palmetto Health Baptist Hospital in Columbia, S.C. She was born Aug. 19, 1933, in Sangerville, daughter of Arthur Hubert and Mertie (Lane) McPheters. She is survived by a daughter, Patricia D. Terry of Columbia, S.C.; a son, Ronald R. Dinkins of Sarasota, Fla.; two brothers, Orman McPheters of Sangerville and Don McPheters of Plaistow, N.H.; grandchildren, Ashley N. Terry and John M. Terry; a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held later in the spring at Village Cemetery in Sangerville.
