WALLAGRASS – Willie Delmar Brown, 89, beloved husband of Winnie (Gervais) Brown, died April 4, 2006, at a Fort Kent Hospital. He was born July 16, 1916, in Eagle Lake, the son of Ernest and Alice (Martin) Brown. Mr. Brown served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Brown worked at Pratt & Whitney for many years. He is survived by his wife, Winnie Brown of Eagle Lake; two brothers, Elmer Brown of South Windsor, Conn., Harold Brown of Eagle Lake; three sisters, Frances Roy of Brookville, Fla., Theresa Rodney of Glastonbury, Conn., and Geneve Stanakis of Oviedo, Fla., several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent, 9 a.m. Saturday until time of departure for Soldier Pond. A Mass of Christian Burial, with full military honors, will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wallagrass. Spring burial will be May 19, 2006 in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Wallagrass.
