FORT KENT – Sylvio J. Plourde, 73, beloved husband of Mildred (Smart) Plourde, died Nov. 8, 2004, at his residence. He was born Aug. 1, 1931, in Fort Kent, the son of Amie and Leontine (Plourde) Plourde. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Plourde of Fort Kent; three daughters, Doris Hallee and Sandra Brigham, both of Billerica, Mass., Betty Curtis of Saco; three sons, Harold Plourde of Eagle Lake, Clarence Plourde of Boston and Sylvio Plourde Jr. of Fort Kent; five brothers, Ernie Plourde of Fort Kent, Roy Plourde of Topsham, Wallace Plourde of Manchester, Conn., Gilton Plourde of Norwich, Conn., and Elson of Bristol, Conn.; six sisters, Phillis Dominicus of Portland, Bernice Roy of Frenchville, Lillian Caron of Norwich, Conn., Carolyn Pelletier of Bristol, Conn., Glenda Plourde of Van Buren, Lucy Martin of South Windsor, Conn.; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one son, Steven Plourde; two sisters, Theresa Michaud and Sylvia Levesque. Friends may call at the Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent, 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and 1 p.m. Thursday until the time of services. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 3 p.m. Thursday at the St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent, with the Rev. Claude Gendreau officiating.
