ELLSWORTH – Tad Douglas Howard, 27, died tragically July 8, 2007, in Amherst. He was born March 2, 1980, in Portland, the son of Dale Charles and Lucy M. (Eldridge) Howard. Tad graduated from Bangor Christian High School in 1998. He loved to play basketball, hiking, Ping-Pong, and spending time with his brother. He knew Christ as his personal savior and has gone to be with the Lord. He is survived by his parents, Dale Howard and Lucy Howard, both of Ellsworth; maternal grandparents, Pearl Smith of Steuben, Douglas Eldridge Sr. of Milbridge; paternal grandparents, Kathryn Johnston of Ellsworth, Willard Stubbs of Millinocket; identical twin brother, Toby of Ellsworth; sister, Tracie Samiya of Bangor; many aunts and uncles, one nephew, several cousins; and a close friend who was like a brother, Mike Gordon of Hermon. Services of remembrance will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, at Faith Community Fellowship, Bar Harbor Road, Trenton. In lieu of flowers, donations in Tad’s memory may be sent to P.O.
