LUBEC – Teletha M. Marston, 65, died Sunday, April 8, 2007, at a Bangor hospital. She was born June 7, 1941, in Cutler, the daughter of Ira L. and Geneva A. (Bagley) Beam. She enjoyed camping at Pleasant Lake, playing washers, bingo, any type of card game, knitting and crafts. She also enjoyed decorating at Christmas time and was featured in the Lubec Light and Quoddy Tides for her displays of Christmas decorations. She was a member of the Stuart Green Post No. 65 American Legion Auxiliary for 36 years. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Leslie Bagley, Ira B. Beam, Ellis “Bum” Beam; and one sister, Teletha Beam. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Robert A. Marston; children, Betty and husband, Peter E. Case, David Marston and wife, Debra, Charlene Marston and companion, Michael Tinker, Sarah and husband, B. George Swallow, all of Lubec; grandchildren, Kelley Fitzgerald of Campobello, New Brunswick, David Case, Vicki Marston, Jason Marston, Sherri Marston, Daniel Marston and Robert Swallow, all of Lubec; great-grandchildren, Brendan and Shamus Fitzgerald of Campobello, New Brunswick and Alex Marotta of Lubec; a sister, Betty and her husband, Alva Hawkins, of Wesley; a special friend, Ginger of Florida; several nieces nephews and cousins. She will also be sadly missed by her pet dog, Petie and by many friends. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, April 13, at the Christian Temple Church, Lubec. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to CancerCare of Maine, 417 State St., Suite 20, Bangor, ME 04401, the Town of Lubec 200th Birthday Celebration or to the charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are in care of McClure Family Funeral Services, Lubec.
