BANGOR – Teresa Ann (Bradbury) Hooper, 83, beloved wife, mother, grammie and aunt, died April 20, 2007, in Bangor. She was born Oct. 29, 1923, in Bangor, daughter of Grover C. Bradbury and Mar-garet A. (Sweeney) Bradbury. Teresa was an original member of the Howard Street Hornets. She graduated from John Bapst High School and Regis College, Class of 1945. She lived in Atlanta, Detroit, Chicago, Buffalo, N.Y., Cincinnati, Manchester, Conn., West Hartford, Conn., Wethersfield, Conn., Middlefield, Conn., and Durham, Conn. Teresa made each address a loving home for her family. She was an extraordinary woman. She leaves her best friend and husband of 61 years, Edmond P. Hooper Jr. of Bangor. Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, David Hooper of Cedar, Mich., Kevin Hooper and his wife, Katherine, of Falmouth; two daughters, Kathy Hooper of Bangor and Meg Hooper of Hartford, Conn.; three grandchildren, Christopher, Casey and Carson, all of Falmouth. She also leaves to mourn her precious Dixie. Also surviving are two sisters-in-law, many cherished nieces, nephews and friends, who held a special place in her heart. She was predeceased by her daughter, Mary. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Ohio Street, Bangor. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments in the parish hall after the service. Private interment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery.
