WINTERPORT – Terese Tread-well Mellott, 47, passed away Sept. 20, 2004, after a courageous three year battle with cancer. She was born Jan. 9, 1957, in Bangor, the daughter of Howard A. Treadwell Sr. and Yvonne Dunton. Teri Sue loved the outdoors camping, fishing, and horseback riding. In her last weeks she enjoyed kayaking with her sisters, Patti and Joanne. She worked many years for Saliba’s installing carpeting with Rick Seger. Teri Sue is survived by her two sons, Joshua and Justin Seger; her mother and stepfather, Robert and Yvonne Dunton; stepmother, Laurel Treadwell; her companion of 24 years, Reginald (Rick) Seger; five brothers, Richard Treadwell and his wife, Annemarie, John Treadwell, Howard Treadwell and his wife, Venise, George Hardgrove and his wife, Kelly, and Robert Dunton Jr. and his wife, Patty; four sisters, Joanne Filtz and her husband, Brian, Patti McPheters and her husband, Danny, Laurie Hamlin and her husband, Peter, and Ann Marie Lucas; grandmother, Villa Hallett; several nieces and nephews; one very special friend of 37 years, Bonnie Cole. She was predeceased by her father, Howard Treadwell Sr.; grandfathers, Lewis White and John Hallett. A Service of Remembrance will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 24, 2004, at the Hermon Baptist Church, 2496 Route 2, Hermon, with the Rev. Garnett Chute, pastor, officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to share conversation and refreshments in the church fellowship hall immediately following the service.
