ELLSWORTH – Terrance A. Tracey, 59, passed away April 8, 2008, at Maine Coast Memorial Hospital, Ellsworth. He was born Sept. 11, 1948, in Bar Harbor, a son of Harry and Olivene Marie Tracey. He was a member of Ells-worth Elks Lodge No. 2743, was a past Kiwanian and a past Boy Scout leader, who took great joy in coaching sports when his son, Alex, was involved. Terrance loved spend-ing time with his grandson. He was an avid sports fan of the New England teams. He work-ed at lobstering and clamming, as well. Terrance is survived by his mother, Marie Sprague and husband, Carol; his father, Har-ry Tracey and wife, Terri; his son, Alex and Alex’s mother, Nancy Sawyer; sister, Mary Belanger; brother, Kenneth Sprague and companion, Amy Black; half sister, Sharon Colson and husband, Sonny; grandson, Wade Hilton Sawyer; loving nieces and nephews; two very special friends and caregivers, Sharon Closson and Kelly Fyke; and many extended family members. A memorial gathering will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, April 12, at Ellsworth Elks Lodge No. 2743, Bar Harbor Road, Ells-worth. The family wishes to thank the brotherhood of Ells-worth Elks Lodge No. 2743.
