JONESPORT – Terri Lynn Thompson, 43, passed away unexpectedly Oct. 12, 2007, at her home. Terri was born Sept. 18, 1964, to Newman and Shirley (Sprague) Thompson. Terri had a passion for animals. Together with her lifelong friend, Stephanie, they opened their hearts and homes to abandoned and abused dogs. Terri was very devoted to her animals, always putting their needs first. Terri is survived by her parents, Newman and Shirley Thompson; one sister, Darlene Tibbetts; two nieces, Holly Alley and husband, Jeremy, and Courtney Stanhope; a great-niece and great-nephew, Tabitha and Trevor Alley; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and a special friend and sister at heart, Stephanie Demoranville. She was predeceased by grandparents, Clifford and Phyllis Sprague, and Rachel Thompson. Terri will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and “babies.” At her request, there will be no visiting hours. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, at Green-wood Cemetery, Jonesport, officiated by Pastor George Woodward. Memorial contributions may be made to Ark Animal Shelter, P.O.
