BROWNVILLE JUNCTION Thelma L. Farrar, 66, wife of Ralph D. Farrar, died May 20, 2008, at a Dexter nursing home. She was born Oct. 13, 1941, in Horse Shoe Run, W.Va., daughter of Paul and Leona Ruth (Henline) Gnegy. Thelma worked for Dexter Shoe, Milo, for 11 years. She was a member of Brownville Junction Service Club and a volunteer at Methodist Church Thrift Shop. She is survived by her husband, Ralph; two sons, Stanley Farrar, and Darrell Farrar and his companion, Rhonda; a grandson, Blake and his special friend, Hanna, all of Brown-ville Junction; her father of Amboy, W.Va.; and sisters, Irma Whitcomb of Greenville, S.C., and Kathryn Beckley of Plainville, Kan. She was predeceased by her mother; and a brother, Everett Gnegy. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, May 24, at Brownville Junction United Methodist Church with the Rev. Stephen Dean officiating. Burial will be in the family lot at Pinetree Cemetery.
