CARIBOU – Thelma M. Bishop, 77, wife of Philip Bishop, died June 7, 2007, in Caribou. She was born Jan. 13, 1930, in Caribou, the daughter of Leon and Cecile (Ouellette) Malenfant. She was employed at Interstate Foods for many years until her retirement. Thelma was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, where she was also a member of the Ladies of St. Anne. She was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Lister-Knowlton Post No. 9389 VFW. Thelma was a loving and devoted wife and mother to her family. Surviving, in addition to her mother, Cecile of Van Buren and her husband, Philip, of Caribou, are four sons, Philip David Bishop and his wife, Sheila, of Washburn, Timothy Bishop, John Bishop and his wife, Debra, all of Caribou and Michael Bishop and his wife, Mary, of Thibodeau, La.; three daughters, Cheryl Jones and her husband, Mark, of Presque Isle, Gail Bragdon of Caribou and Carla Frank of Tuscola, Texas; eight brothers, six sisters, 14 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, June 11, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with Fr.
