HOULTON – Thelma N. Raymond, 81, died March 31, 2005, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born March 10, 1924, at Glenburn, the daughter of Irving and Katie (Foster) Pomeroy. Thelma was a member of the Saint Mary’s of the Visitation Church. She worked side by side with her husband, Sylvio as the owner and operator of Chadwick’s Florist for 34 years. She is survived by her five loving children, Sylvio Raymond Jr., and his wife, Dr. Laurel Pinales of New Limerick, Mary Beaulieu and her husband, Francis, of West Rutland, Vt., Paul Raymond of Houlton, Patricia Fisher and her husband, Randall, of Lewiston, Mike Raymond and his wife, Sharon, of Houlton; 13 grandchildren, Sylvio III, Tim, Peter, Greg, Chrissy, Lori, Mathew, Jeff, Bruce, Karen, Ross, Bethany and Erica; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother, Harrison Pomeroy of Glenburn; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Sylvio in 2000. Thelma shared her love of life with all those she came in contact with. She provided unconditional love to her husband, children and other special persons in her life. She will be deeply missed! Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Dunn Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday at Saint Mary’s of the Visitation Church, with the Rev. Eddy Morin celebrant. Interment will be in the Saint Mary’s Cemetery.
