LINCOLN – Thelma Richards, 84, wife of the late Fred Richards, died Oct 7, 2003, at a Lincoln hospital. She was born in Wytopitlock, June 17, 1919, the daughter of Ora and Laura (Butters) Collier. Thelma was a member of the American Legion Aux. She is survived by one son, Peter Richards and his wife, Beverly, of Lincoln; one daughter, Sally Delano of Clearwater, Fla.; four grandchildren, Lisa MacLeod and her husband, John, Jimmy Richards and his wife, Tammy, Chris Delano and his wife, Tammy, and Joby Delano and Annette; six great grandchildren, MacKenzie MacLeod, Alicia MacLeod, Nicole Richards, Matthew Richards, Jack Delano and Hunter Delano; two sisters, Viola Hawkins and Florentine Whittier and her husband, Alfred, all of Lincoln; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, Fred, she was predeceased by a brother, Lawrence Collier. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 9, 2003, at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home with the Rev.
