BANGOR and GUILFORD – Thelma W. Cousins, 94, wife of the late Gordon G. Cousins, died Saturday, Oct. 11, 2003, at home after a long illness. She was born Oct. 22, 1908, in Parkman, the daughter of Freeman and Tena (Badger) Welts. Thelma lived in Guilford for 87 of her 94 years. She was a devoted wife, homemaker, loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Drossel of Bangor, with whom she had made her home since 1996; a grandson, Stephen Drossel; a cousin, Flora Moore; and dear friend, Harriet Colson, both of Guilford. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2003, at Lawn Cemetery, Guilford, with the Rev. Dodie Stowe officiating. Arrangements by Pine Tree Cremation Service.
