BRADLEY – Theodore H. “Ted” Pomeroy, 48, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, June 13, 2006, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Nov. 11, 1957, in Bangor, the son of the late Merle E. and Rosina G. (Leavitt) Pomeroy. Ted was a graduate of Old Town High School, Class of 1976. He went on to Eastern Maine Vocational Technical Institute to earn an automotive degree. Ted was an avid NASCAR fan and also enjoyed restoring vintage cars. He was self employed as the proud owner of Concept Auto Works Inc., as well as Classic Muscle Collectable Cars. He loved animals especially his nine cats. He was a member of the Town of Bradley Planning Board, Central Main Street Rod Club and several other organizations pertaining to automotive. Ted also enjoyed collecting a wide spectrum of memorabilia. He is survived and will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 21 years, Diane; two sisters, Karen Pomeroy of Pembroke, N.H., Ann Ammerman and her husband, Tom, of Old Town; nephew, Tim; niece, Cassidy; and mother-in-law, Ethel I. Pooler. He will be greatly missed by all his friends and family. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his father-in-law, Ronald L. Pooler; and brother-in-law, Ronald H. Pooler. A celebration of life will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town, with the Rev. Ron Chaffee officiating.
