CROUSEVILLE – Theren Hartsgrove, 53, died unexpectedly Aug. 13, 2008, at his residence. He was born July 10, 1955, in Caribou, the son of Lewis and Alice (Langley) Harstgrove. He attended Washburn and Caribou schools, and had held various occupations throughout his life, before becoming disabled while working construction several years ago. He married Margaret Easler, Nov. 10, 1972. Theren was a wonderful man who lived life to its fullest. Above all, he loved spending time with his family. He was not one to hide his emotions in any way and his sense of humor was unrivaled. He was a very colorful man who was enthusiastic about all he did. He will be truly missed by all of his family, but will never be gone from our hearts. Surviving, in addition to his wife, Margaret of Crouseville; are his father of Norridgewock; two sons and daughters-in-law, Christopher and Elizabeth Hartsgrove of Dennis, Mass., and Jeremy and Michelle Hartsgrove of Washburn; one brother, Lewis Hartsgrove Jr. of Fairbanks, Alaska; two sisters, Patti Nilsson of Corinth and Jenny Hartsgrove of Presque Isle; five grandchildren, Jeremy David Hartsgrove, Courtney Anne Hartsgrove, Hillary Megan Hartsgrove, Alanna Sohpia Harstgrove and Isabella Gianna Hartsgrove; a special friend, Rick Nilsson; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Hartsgrove was predeceased by his mother. Friends may call 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, until time of services, which will be held 1 p.m. at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou, with the Rev. John Palmer and Matt Palmer officiating. Interment will be at Hillside Grove Cemetery, Crouseville.
