CARMEL – Jacqueline Lee Parke-Hayward, 44, passed away peacefully Aug. 12, 2008, at her home. She was born Nov. 23, 1963, in Concord, Mass., to the late John H. and Anna Parke. Jackie worked for the town of Carmel for several years. She will be remembered as a loving wife, sister and friend to all. She is survived by her beloved husband, William Hayward of Carmel; sisters, Leslie and Charles Whitehead of Hubbardston, Mass., and Audrey and Douglas Christian of Pineville, La.; brothers, John and Nancy Parke of Partlow, Va., and Dana Parke of Weston, Mass.; as well as her beloved dog, Sam. In keeping with Jackie’s wishes, the will be no funeral services. Donations in her memory may be made to Animal Orphanage, P.O. Box 565, Orono, ME 04473.
