WATERBORO – Thomas J. Power Sr., died at his home June 9, 2005, after a long illness. He was born December, 1929, in Bangor, the son of James Brooks and Frances M. Power. He graduated from Bangor High School in 1948. Thomas served in the Air Force and attended the University of Maine at Orono. He retired from Verizon in 1990. Thomas is survived by his wife of 51 years, Virginia; a son, Thomas J. Power Jr. and his wife, Irene, of South China; a daughter, Catherine A. Power Wolfe and her husband, John, of Waterboro; four grandchildren, Thomas J. Power III, Tristan D. Power, Shannon A. Power, and Jennifer L. Wolfe. At Tom’s request, he will be cremated. No services will be held.
