HOLDEN – Thomas W. Adams, 66, died Aug. 5, 2004 at his residence. He was born Feb 9, 1938, in Baltimore, Md., the son of Thomas H. and Ethel (Johnson) Adams. Tom graduated Calvert Hall in Baltimore in 1956. After graduation, he worked at Bethlehem Steel, in construction. He served in the airforce for 10 years and was stationed at Dow Air Force Base where he met his wife, Victoria. After the service he worked for RCA Computers in Maryland, and Univac Systems for seven years. He moved his family back to Maine in 1974, and worked for Leighton Business Systems for 13 years. He opened his own business, New Age Software Systems in 1987 for 13 years. Currently, he worked for Unisource and has been there since October 1990. Surviving in addition to his father of Dundalk, Md., are his wife, Victoria Adams of Holden; two sons, Thomas and his wife, Shannon Adams, of Bangor, Ronald and his fianc?e, Cynthia Adams, of Old Town; two daughters, Mrs. Barbara and her husband, Gary Clewley, of Bangor and Mrs. Katherine and her husband, Robert Lepari, of Bangor; two brothers, Ronald and David Adams of Baltimore; six grandchildren, Sarah, Erin, Lexi, Cassie, Haley, and Brianna. He was predeceased by his mother; and one brother, Richard. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Sunday at the Greenlawn funeral home 300 State St. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday, at St. John’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the family lot, Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Friends who wish may make donations to the National Cancer Society.
