SULLIVAN – Timothy Francis Manning, 62, died Nov. 27, 2003, at a Penobscot healthcare facility. He was born Oct. 23, 1941, in Easton, Mass., the son of James R. and Anne (Keirnan) Manning. He graduated from Oliver Ames High School, Easton, Mass., in 1959 and Massachusetts Marine Academy in 1965. He was in the Merchant Marines until retirement. He was always interested in sports, especially football and baseball and always loved to go hunting and fishing. Timothy leaves four sons, Timothy John Manning and his girlfriend, Vicki, of Hancock, Sean Joseph Manning and wife, Karen, Joseph Russell Manning and wife, Kelly, and James Michael Manning and wife, Dorothy, all of Sullivan; seven grandchildren, Michael, Natasha and Alexis of Hancock, and Christopher, Mickey and Dustin, and Matthew of Sullivan; two sisters, Linda Williams and her husband, Jack, of Brockton, Mass., and Katherine Taylor and her husband, Robert, of Easton, Mass.; two brothers, Russell Manning and his wife, Rosemary, of Bedford, Va., and Michael Manning and his wife, Joyce, of Plymouth, Mass.; one special aunt, Elizabeth Griffin; and cousin, Jeanie of Brockton, Mass.; 17 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Brian Manning. At the family’s request, services will be private. Arrangements by Jordan Funeral Home, 113 Franklin St., Ellsworth.
