BAILEYVILLE – Timothy A. Gallant Sr., 36 died unexpectedly Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2003, at a Calais hospital with his family by his side. Tim was born Feb. 24, 1967, in Calais, the son of John and JoEllen (Travis) Gallant. He was a graduate of Woodland High School, Class of 1985. He served proudly in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1989-1993. His duty was overseas in the Gulf War. Tim was a devoted husband and father. An avid hunter, Tim involved his wife, children, father and brother in the sport. He spent several seasons at the “Pittston Farm” the first week of hunting. Tim was a registered Maine Master Guide, member of the Princeton Rod and Gun Club, and the W.T. Wren Post No. 23 American Legion of Baileyville. Surviving in addition to his parents, are his devoted wife of 17 years, Amie (Daye) Gallant; one son, Timothy Abbott Jr.; one daughter, Ashlee Marie, all of Baileyville; one brother, John Leo III and his wife, Michelle, of Baileyville; his mother-in-law, Donna Daye of Calais; sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Daye of Rockland, Paula Worster and husband, Jay, of Lee; nieces, Chelsey, Cassy, Maya Jo; and nephew, Matthew; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Monday in the Woodland Cemetery with the Rev. Dana Kadey officiating. Arrangements are by the Scott-Wilson Funeral Home, 26 Church St., Calais.
