LAKE WORTH, Fla. and VAN BUREN – Tommy Ouellette, 62, of Lake Worth, Fla., died Jan. 14, 2005, at his home. Mr. Ouellette graduated from Van Buren Boys High School, Van Buren, in 1960. He served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Fort Irwin, Calif. Upon returning to Cyr Plantation, he was self-employed as a Maine potato and grain grower. He served on Maine Potato Council and was a member of Agway. He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 1635, the Fourth Degree Assembly and was a Past Grand Knight. He served as first selectman for Cyr Plantation. His passion was family, his grandkids and friends. He enjoyed flying, playing cards and RV traveling. He, his wife and three daughters relocated to Lake Worth, Fla. in 1980, where he was superintendent of Indian Creek Golf Course in Jupiter, Fla. for 10 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 40 years, Lydia (Lapierre) Ouellette of Lake Worth; three daughters, Sherry Harris and husband, Glenn, of Royal Palm Beach, Fla., Kim Liddell and husband, Dennis, of Lake Worth, Fla., Tricia Ouellette and fianc?, Gregory Meyer, of North Palm Beach, Fla.; four grandchildren, Jessica and Ryan Harris, Ashley and Hunter Liddell, his mother, Anne Ouellette of Van Buren; one sister, Maxine Charette and husband, Gerald, of Quechee, Vt., one brother, James Ouellette and wife, Renee, of Sebring, Fla. He was predeceased by his father, Ludger Ouellette, one brother, Ronald Ouellette and one sister, Marcella Scribner. A Memorial visitation will be held from 10-12 noon Friday, Jan. 21, at Tillman Funeral Home, 2170 S. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Fla. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Friday at St. Therese de Lisieux Catholic Church, Wellington, Fla. with the Rev. Louis Guerin, celebrant. Interment will take place in Grande Riviere Cemetery, in Van Buren, in June. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Ave., West Palm Beach, FL 33407. Local arrangements are a service of Ouellette-Thibault Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren.
