PRESQUE ISLE – Tweena Kelley, 84, died June 7, 2007, at a Presque Isle hospital. She was born March 4, 1923, in Caribou, the daughter of Frederick and Zilpha (Wright) Kelley. She had been employed by the Hartford Insurance Agency, Presque Isle and also was later the administrative assistant to the president of the University of Maine – Presque Isle. Tweena spent many years as caregiver to her sister, Barbara, during her long illness. Spending time with her family in Bar Harbor, cooking and entertaining people in her home gave her great joy. Neenie, who she was lovingly known as to her close family, will be sadly missed by her sister, Phyllis Davis of Presque Isle; her special niece, Leah Rae Donahue and her husband, Michael, of Bar Harbor; two very special great-nephews and their wives, Micah and Kristen Donahue and Ryan and Maria Donahue; and great-great-nephew, Riley Donahue. Predeceasing her, in addition to her parents, was a sister, Barbara Kelley. There will be no calling hours. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday at the Presque Isle Congregational Church with the Rev. Dr. Robert Grove-Markwood officiating. Interment will be at Fairmount Cemetery.
