PLEASANT POINT – U-Neeq Francis, infant son of Dustin Francis and Desiree Lola, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, July 24, 2007, at Calais Regional Hospital. In addition to his parents, U-Neeq is survived by a brother, Logan Francis; two sisters, Lakeysha and Tyeisha Francis; maternal grandparents, Beverly and Carl Jillson of Pleasant Point and Vern Perley of Tobique, Canada; paternal grandparents, Dean Francis of Indian Township and Janice Francis of New Mexico; great-grandmothers, Rebecca Francis of Pleasant Point and Ren? Attean of Indian Island; great-grandfather, Morris Perley of Tobique, Canada; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may call starting 6 p.m. Thursday until 9 a.m. Saturday at the Elder Meal Site, Pleasant Point. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Ann Church by Father Eugene Gaffey. Burial will be after at Tribal Cemetery.
