BANGOR – Vera A. (Watson) Russell, 93, wife of the late Levi Russell, died July 13, 2004, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Oct. 29, 1910, in Caribou, the daughter of George and Susan (St. Peter) Watson. She is survived by five daughters, Patricia and her husband, Clarence Snyder, of Ellsworth, Jacqueline and her husband, Earle Murray, of Walton, Ind., Paula Lee Dwelley of Dayton, Ohio, Susan and her husband, Richard Laffey, of Bangor, Marquerite and her husband, Lewis Hewes, of Eddington; 19 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Paul Watson of Largo, Fla.; three sisters, Margaret Watson of Bangor, Avis Wilson of Stetson, and Harriett W. Adams of Jay; many nieces, and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by one son, George E. Russell; and three brothers, Raymond E. Watson, Frederick Watson, Glendall Watson. The family would like to thank the Ellen Leach Home for all loving care shown to Vera and her family over the past seven years. A private graveside service will be held in Pine Grove Cemetery, Bangor with the Rev. William Washington, officiating. Gifts in her memory may be made to a charity of ones choice.
