FORT FAIRFIELD – The death of Vera Grace Plant, 65, of Fort Fairfield occurred April 29, 2004, at the Aroostook Medical Center, Presque Isle. Born in Lerwick, New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late Blanchard and Geneva (Pirie) Larlee. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Bernard Plant; three daughters, Darlene (Larry) Elles of Fredericton, New Brunswick, Krista (Eric) Hilchie of Nova Scotia and Marla Williamson of Presque Isle; one son, Dwayne (Lori) Plant of Fort Fairfield; grandchildren, Jayson, Katie, Kara, Lauren and Victoria; five sisters, Wilda (John) Butt of Nackawic, New Brunswick, Donna (Bill) Cox of Prince Edward Island, Marjorie Cote, Carole (Tony) Esterbrook and Laura (Keith) Humber, all of Fredericton, New Brunswick; one brother, Gordon Larlee of Perth-Andover, New Brunswick; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a special friend, Doreen Plant. She was predeceased by her parents; and one brother, Dwayne. Resting will be at White’s Funeral Home, Perth-Andover, New Brunswick, with visiting hours 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. (Canadian time) Saturday, May 1. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. (Canadian time) Sunday, May 2, from Calvary Tabernacle Pentecostal Church with the Rev. David Gee officiating, assisted by the Rev. H.M. Lewis. Interment will be in the Currie Cemetery, Tilley, New Brunswick. Memorial donations to the U.S.A. Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
