PRESQUE ISLE – Shana Marie Pelletier, 35, died April 28, 2004, at Presque Isle. She was born April 6, 1969, in Warwick, R.I., the daughter of Gary and Helen (Gaffey) Farmer. Shana was a 1987 graduate of Van Buren High School and served with the U.S. Army in Germany. She was employed as a CNA at Borderview Manor for several years. She was an active member of the Cancer Support Group in Van Buren and was also a member of the American Legion Post 49. She married Dennis Pelletier Aug. 20, 1993. Surviving in addition to her husband, Dennis of Van Buren are her parents, Gary and Helen Farmer of Van Buren; her two children, Ryan and Autumn both of Van Buren; one brother, Lee Farmer of Van Buren; her grandmother, Blanche Farmer of Warwick, R.I.; many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Friends may visit with the family 4-7 p.m. Friday at the Ouellette-Thibault Funeral Home, 12 High St., Van Buren. A memorial Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday, May 1, 2004, at St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church. Interment will be in the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery. Friends who wish to contribute in memory of Shana may do so through an educational fund to be established for her children. Envelopes are available through the funeral home.
