BUCKSPORT – Veronica J. (Yaeger) Maceli, 80, died May 16, 2008, surrounded by her loving and devoted husband, Liborio; and her son and daughter-in-law, Salvatore and Patty Maceli, at Blue Hill Memorial Hospital. Veronica was born March 19, 1928, in Brooklyn, N.Y. She married the love of her life, Liborio, in 1971 and enjoyed their life together in Maine for the last 39 years. Veronica loved her family and was always kind and loving to others. She will be missed dearly. Veronica and her family wish to thank Vicki Hart and the staff at Eastern Maine Medical Center Dialysis Center, Ellsworth, for their excellent and loving care throughout the last few years. Veronica is survived by her husband of 37 years, Liborio Maceli of Bucksport; her son and daughter-in-law, Salvatore and Patti Maceli of Las Vegas; granddaughter, Anna Maria Maceli of Las Vegas; aunt, Francis Pantazzis of Long Island, N.Y.; and nephew, Larry Licata of Bucksport. In honor of Veronica’s wishes, there will be no memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hancock County Home Care and Hospice, P.O. Box 156, Blue Hill, ME 04614.
